Update on my novel.

Times are getting close - I haven’t been spending optimal time working on my novel. So I’m not quite show I’ll finish it in time to “win” in the national novel writing month competition. But the plot line is working slowly forward and depending on how time goes this next week I may still have a chance of finishing by the end of the month...... Read More

Stargate Atlantis

Started watching Stargate: Atlantis. Good show but I did notice after watching 8 seasons of SG-1 in a row that they reused 2 actors of SG-1 and placed them in minor roles in Atlantis - just mildly annoying but not to any extent that it diminishes the show...... Read More

My Wii story

Last night like hundreds of thousands of people around the states I waited in line for a Nintendo Wii. We arrived at Super K in Lorain, OH to get our chance at the elusive new console. We started waiting at 11 PM for the midnight drawing. Instead of the normal line Super K was doing a lottery which I assumed would increase my chances without camping out for 2-3 days ahead of time...... Read More

Video Games: Final Fantasy II

Game is kicking my butt - my problem is the the final boss - while I strolled through the rest of the game - this last boss is just not having any of it. According to the game walkthroughs I am way too low to be here and since I’m not a heavy magic user I need to back and power level my spells - which takes forever. So now I’m just stuck with mind numbing leveling - last nights battle with the emporer took 3 hours before I called it quits. more power leveling tommorow..... Read More

Video game update

After many tries and attempts I finally beat final fantasy 1. It was the GBA version - but I never had time to get through it on the NES or the PS1. Emulators were always a nightmare. So that’s another game I got under my belt that I’ve completed...... Read More

Inside JFK

I had to pull out my cellular card, since this airport does not have any free wireless access. On a side note I thought the ad-hoc computer network that said “Free wireless here” was cute. Though anyone with half a brain could see it was an ad-hoc network. ..... Read More

In regards to a new dawn

I just noticed that my posts are still in PST time - I’m currently located in EST - wanted to make it clear that the last post actually should have a time stamp of 3 hours later - I’ll correct my blog profile tomorrow - but I wanted to let you know I wasn’t cheating by starting early...... A new dawn

So this month is national novel writing month. One site chronicles and maintains your progress in getting through this goal that most people never manage to get done. I was going to participate last year but was too slow to sign up. So like everyone else on the planet I said I would write one next year. Well next year is here and today is the day that everyone participating is getting geared up and their pens (word processors) are starting to kick into overdrive. The goal of this is to inspire more people to write (something I need). It is not about quality - you can polish later. It’s about getting it done and not putting it off again until next year......
