Roll your own cable - kind of.
I’m the type of person that likes to rip his own DVD’s and old VHS tapes onto the computer for archiving. In the past I almost always had a computer hooked up to the TV and the network to watch these and stream audio through the home stereo...... Read More
Vonage
So joining into another step of the twenty-first century lifestyle - we got Vonage installed in the house. After hooking it up I am disappointed that the Linksys PAP2 that I purchased for the service has very limited options for configurations. I’ve been playing SWG since June 2003, but yet in all my travels had not managed to meet up with anyone that has played the game. Luckily the first person I did get to meet is one of my oldest and dearest true virtual friends. I’m hoping to head back out to LA in a couple weeks and we can do it again...... Read More
My Novel - a Memorium
My novel in the National Novel writing month competition never managed to get completed; like writing on the blog sometimes real life interferes. There is always next year to redo it - the novel I started I’m going to keep plucking away at and hopefully I will manage to eventually finish. You know how things go - some things take precedence over others and some things get pushed off to the way side...... Read More
