Judg­ing by MySpace and YouTube pop­u­lar­ity, we’re headed for a Barack Obama vs. Ron Paul show down in 2008. But all the polling data has us on a clear path toward Clin­ton vs. Giu­liani. So what gives? How come the web is so bad at pre­dict­ing polit­i­cal elec­tions? Does the Inter­net even mat­ter in pres­i­den­tial politics?
