I’ve noticed that my link to sources that people can use now that tv-links.co.uk is gone has generated alot of hits. The thing I left out when linking to that original posts are the 100% free and legal ways to stream your television (and most of these sites can handle the badnwidth).
www.fox.com
www.abc.com
www.cbs.com
www.nbc.com
www.cwtv.com
All these major networks have live and streaming episodes — they have commercials — but that’s fine with me since I can now watch what I want when I want it. Law and Order is still missing though.
In comes Hulu, here is what the NY Times has to say:
Hulu is the new-media creation of two old-media rivals, NBC, which is owned by General Electric, and Fox, owned by the News Corporation. Since March, when the broadcasters announced their joint effort to bring free, ad-supported television shows to the Web, critics have pounced, predicting the venture would be doomed by diverging agendas, technical challenges and an all-powerful enemy: YouTube.
While competing with youtube may or may not work — didn’t demographics entirely. I can say this is going to bring in a new era of interactive live television on demand. Maybe the big companies are paying attention to their consumers for a change.

Will they be complete series — I don’t know but I hope so — I’m sure they won’t be complete resolution since some of these titles may interefere with DVD sales — but I would assume that would be dependent on if they make more money from commercials or the 19.99 that alot of these go for per season on DVD. Only time will tell.
