The gen­tle­man who runs The Pub­lic Bal­lot IMed me last night to see if I voted and if the way the bal­lots were han­dled had changed in my area. I had com­pletely spaced and with real life being hec­tic the last seven days i had com­pletely spaced and for­got or didn’t take notice.

So I can say that I failed to get the vote out — but would love to con­grat­u­late Jim Crop­cho on chang­ing the vote han­dling in at least one dis­trict with the flaw he found in the vot­ing sys­tem that I wrote about ear­lier here.

I still believe this should be changed in all Ohio dis­tricts and any other states where this flaw remains. For more infor­ma­tion and up to date news on this issue please visit The Pub­lic Ballot.

I’m going to crawl beneath a rock for fail­ing to get my vote out. I’ll be much hap­pier when online vot­ing becomes a possibility.
