I’m a huge pain in the ass  that’s how one person put it.  I’m currently on the hunt for people that went to VHS high school and that were in marching band between the 1991 graduating class and the 1997 graduating class.   When I find you I will question you and bother you, and try to convince you show up.  If you are from classes other then these and I know you, I will still bother you and get you to show up.   I’m sick of seeing only 3–4 faces that I went to school with.

The list of my class is short for the ones that seem to have an online presence.  There are a few I just refuse to talk to, but I have no problem sending intermediaries in place ot these people.   I want to see more people from my era.   I know probably none of them read my blog, but since this get’s crossposted to myspace, facebook, and ungodly number of other sites I’m hoping it will at least make an impact somewhere.   If Mr. Price does not have your information on file please contact him.   Information on the rehearsals, practice, and uniform (as well as contact information to get a hold of Mr. Price) can be found at www.vhsalumniband.org.

Hopefully I’ll see you all on the field.

  • So far excuses fall into three major categories.

    1. I don't know how to play anymore - well at least a couple people I've talked now know I won't accept that as an excuse.

    2. I live too far away, I wish I could make it - start making plans for next year now - it will either be the last weekend in September or the first weekend in October.

    3. I work - come on it's still a month away and at least some of you can make arrangements - that's the modern adult day equivalent of "washing my hair".
