I’m Now On The VCMA Board of Directors.
I end up using the above shot of myself quite a bit (it would be a better picture if I had known I would use it so often). This time though it’s to announce that the VCMA has voted me onto their Board of Directors. At this moment in time I’m still not sure what is going ot be asked of me or what my duties will require. Will I be a “junior” member in the sense that I’ve been there for only a year or accepted with equal voice. Who knows?
I don’t shy away from confrontation, but I don’t seek it out either. I will state my point and believe in it. I don’t see any issues however since all the people in the VCMA seem to have a good heart. My term is from September 1, 2008 through August 31, 2010. I guess I’ve been a board member for 4 days and wasn’t even aware of it.
Not that it’s important, and not that most of you would care. I just thought I would share my news with the intrawebs.
