Mallrats isn’t Kevin Smith’s best work. I’m sorry it’s true. I love the movie, it has almost as many great one liners as Clerks did. The problem is that the studios got involved and tried to turn Kevin Smith’s creative vision. While the movie isn’t the greatest, it doesn’t go without it’s moments. Kevin Smith still has ability to leave a mark and shine through even though this is his most Hollywoodized movie.
