The Geekdad blog ran a post that crossed my RSS feed today – 10 Ultimate Components of a Geeky Eighties Childhood.  I went through the list he had, and I did truly own some of the things in the list, here is what I actually owned:

Merlin – I really don’t remember too much about using this, but I did have one.

Wacky Wall Walkers – I drove my mother nuts with these things.

He-man Toys – Damn, I still wish I owned a Castle Greyskull toy……..  I’m going to have to do a post one day of all the He-Man stuff I did own……

Underoos – I owned a Superman Set and Batman Set – I may have owned more

Coleco Tabletop Games – I owned a Pac-Man just like the one above.

Trapper Keepers – I owned way too many of these over the years.

Go read the full story and let me know how many you owned off the full list.

  1. I had forgotten all about my Merlin until I saw this post. Like you I don't remember too much about it but do remember having one. And the Trapper Keeper…you weren't cool unless you had one. I also had the Stretch Armstrong and the Shrinky Dinks
