The Airplane Gods Didn’t Just Hate Me

When I was a consultant and traveling all the time I seriously thought the airplane gods wanted to mock me.   Especially the time I got stranded because of an overbooked flight in Buffalo for 8 hours.    The Consumerist has a list of the top 10 worst airports for delays - I’ve been to most of them.   From their list here is where I’ve been:..... Launched journeytogetpaid.com

I opened up my newest online diary that’s targeted, journeytogetpaid.com.  The whole point of the site is to document the trials and tribulations of becoming a professional blogger.   Will I be able to attain that goal?  Probably not, there is a very good chance that it is a pipe dream.  I would probably make more money registering spam sites based off typos then I would  making money as a professional blogger.   It does come down to the fact that a fellow has to dream...... Harry Potter and the Sales of Wal-Martium

So I joined in the cultural phenomenon that is finally over - the purchasing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I arrived at about 11:30 and didn’t see any sort of line in the store and my naivety had me believing that maybe it wasn’t going to be that big of thing and proceeded to start to do my shopping. ..... My Novel - a Memorium

My novel in the National Novel writing month competition never managed to get completed; like writing on the blog sometimes real life interferes. There is always next year to redo it - the novel I started I’m going to keep plucking away at and hopefully I will manage to eventually finish. You know how things go - some things take precedence over others and some things get pushed off to the way side...... Read More

Inside JFK

I had to pull out my cellular card, since this airport does not have any free wireless access. On a side note I thought the ad-hoc computer network that said “Free wireless here” was cute. Though anyone with half a brain could see it was an ad-hoc network. ..... Read More

In regards to a new dawn

I just noticed that my posts are still in PST time - I’m currently located in EST - wanted to make it clear that the last post actually should have a time stamp of 3 hours later - I’ll correct my blog profile tomorrow - but I wanted to let you know I wasn’t cheating by starting early...... A new dawn

So this month is national novel writing month. One site chronicles and maintains your progress in getting through this goal that most people never manage to get done. I was going to participate last year but was too slow to sign up. So like everyone else on the planet I said I would write one next year. Well next year is here and today is the day that everyone participating is getting geared up and their pens (word processors) are starting to kick into overdrive. The goal of this is to inspire more people to write (something I need). It is not about quality - you can polish later. It’s about getting it done and not putting it off again until next year......
