Music
Music has been an integral part of my life for many years. I started playing trumpet in 5th grade. My teacher, Mr. Sherpa, was unfortunately not that good of a teacher. I quit trumpet and thought I put music behind me. The summer before my sophomore year a senior I hardly knew conned me into joining the Vermilion Sailor Marching Band. It didn’t matter I knew nothing about playing they accepted me. The band director, Mr. David Henry, was one of the most inspirational teachers of my life. I managed to keep with trumpet off and on to this day.
